Great donuts! I got half dozen donuts. The glazed donut was lite and fluffy! Also got apple fritter, custard long john, old fashion, cinnamon roll, and chocolate cake donuts. Delicious!! They are well worth the wait in line. You will not be disappointed, unless they run out of donuts. 😋

Better-Maid still has the best cake donuts in PA and it's not close. Haven't been in since the move until today. Had to raise their prices which is understandable with everything going on in the world. It's still the same with demand. Get there early to beat the rush. It does look like production has been ramped up, but i'm sure he still sells out by lunch (used to sell out pretty consistently by 0830). Its a small place, so don't bring the whole crew. I suggest one or two on the donut mission to not clog up the place and lengthen the line.

Heard about this donut shop from their reopening so we made a trip to get some before they sold out! My favorites were their selection of traditionally made donuts like the sour cream and sugar, the apple fritters were delicious too!! Happy to see they were able to reopen, we’ll definitely be back!

Pretty bummed that my fave (the plain cake) was smaller than the other cake donuts yet still was charged the same amount. They were also under cooked as they didn't have their usual crispness. Maybe it was just a bad day to get plain cake. All other donuts were top notch as usual. I've waited in line twice since they reopened (missed out the first time) and have always had great conversations with my fellow line mates! --The shop reached out to me to let me know that they switched to smaller plain cake donuts but give 2 instead of 1 -- appreciate their quick response :)

I Got one dozen of the various flavors of the house special better-maid hand fried doughnuts of Pittsburgh PA! It was well worth the drive! There was a line of over 70 people down the block they have a cult following & it’s no mystery what they have going on here it rings bells throughout the borough! Bar-none best doughnuts in the burgh! Highly recommend via online social medias & they didn’t disappoint no one bit. Donuts came out hot and fresh. The smell was captivating. The taste was like a party in your mouth! Very crispy on the outside soft on the inside with savory fillings on the inside. Trust me when I tell you that you have to pay these guys a visit! CASH ONLY! & Show up bright & early they sell out fast for a reason! They simply are the BEST!!!!
